Vintage 80s John Galliano Silk Twisted long Sleeve Top US 4 EUR 36 UK 10 blouse
Such innovative and intricate pattern cutting is rarely seen these days. The back construction is equally impressive, with accordion pleats. The architecture of this piece is really quite extraordinary!
UK 10, US 4, Euro 36. 28.5 back of neck to bottom. 22.5 armpit to armpit. Blue (the color is most like photo #6 on my screen, some pics turned out brighter). Excellent condition except for one very tiny hole at the back bottom (see photo #10 where my finger is pointing, and #11 super close up).
London label, so pre-Givenchy and Dior in Paris. From 1993 Galliano's brand was produced in "Paris", so any piece with the "London Made In Britain" label in excellent condition, is now considered extremely rare and obviously very collectable. During his London days, Galliano produced limited runs per style.
